Prevent measures for COIVID-19

Hello everyone ,

To prevent the spread of Covid-19 the staff of ” Yururi Roppongi” is taking all the possible measures.

Surfaces and objects are wiped with disinfectant regularly.

Display sanitizing hand rub dispensers prominently around the venue.

Open windows and doors whenever possible to make sure the venue is well ventilated.

We clean hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.

Wear a mask all the time possible.

Now is the time to prepare for COVID-19. Simple precautions and planning can make a big difference.

Daily short walks

Good evening in this hot weather.

It seems that summer is already here and this year spring was to short, like in the last few years .

With the necessity to stay home I am missing the sun light and the long walks that I usually took a few times per month.
To compensate when going to work or returning from work I try to walk a few stations and most important I pay attention to the walking form trying to keep a good posture , if on the way are some stairs is even better for exercising.

I remember the stairs from some shrine or temple that where so uphill that can be compared with one day of exercise.

When not going to work days I use the stairs from the mansion where I stay , going up and down a few floors as silent as possible.

To stay healthy I try to find small opportunities to compensate for what I can’t do like before .

Stay home and healthy and making imaginary plans for the day when we can go out with no worries .

Stay home new project “ nukazuke “

 

 

 

 

 

Hello again everyone I hope you’re doing well today to.

In the last days where news about the shortage of flour powder for hot cake and other bakery. With the children being at home for so long time bakery is one of the activities that can be done together plus snack time.

A different way to spend time at home is by growing or taking care of something that can be a daily routine :plants , pets or other. Nukazuke is one project that needs to be taken care of every day , so can be one reason to have a daily routine.

Children like to play with sand, use nukazuke in the place of the sand  in a small box only playing with the hands, not necessary to put vegetables in the nukazuke if is only for playing.

In my country Romania we have something similar to nukazuke but we use wheat bran  and corn bran/flour . When is starting to be fermented is added water (2-3 parts more than the bran parts ) and mixing every day for 3-4 days till is becoming sour, after we separate the water that is sour and has a yellow color.  This nukazuke water is called “bors ” in my country and can be consumed the way it is or added to soups . Bors has a lots of vitamins and other from the bran .

I started to make this bors (nukazuke water) but being my first time doing by myself from zero I had some mistakes till I got to the results I wanted.  I’m glad I did it ,now I can drink it a few times per week.

Before this stay home times work was a daily routine and we miss this so starting a project with a  constant daily activity is possible to make a new routine .

Hopping for a good day for everyone!

Is possible that #stayhome times will be continued for one more month.

In this situation small restaurant are trying the best possible with take out or delivering lunch boxes.

Yesterday I was at Almond Cafe, a famous place next to the Roppongi station, where they do sales for a few small businesses lunch boxes at the lunch time (between 12:00-14:00). This time where from 9 shops, all looked so delicious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is nice to see shops cooperate to do the best in this times it gives me strength to keep doing my best too.Let’s do the best we can day by day and we can pass this difficult times.

Daily small exercises

 

 

 

 

 

Good day everyone

Today is one more day in #stayhome times.

With not being able to go outside as much as before the body starts to feel stiff and the strength getting low.
I recommend to do small periods of stretching or muscle training in the times of CM breaks when looking at TV or between episodes when you are binging on Netflix, Amazon prime or other apps.
Balance exercises are good for inner muscles so don’t forget to mix it in the daily small exercises.

Everyone let’s do the best we can day by day and we can pass this difficult times as soon as possible.

Making salty snacks

Hello ,I am Anca.

With the necessary #stayhome my free time becomes to long
so I started to pay attention to what I eat and I noticed
that my snacks were mostly sweet so I try to change from
sweet to salty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I started to try to make a snack that can’t find in shops
here in Japan. In my country is easy to find but
here no chance.

The snack ” covrigei” is made from white flour + wine
+water +oil+ dry yeast+salt +very little sugar for yeast
(more simple is white flour +wine+oil+salt) .
White flour is not good for health but if is whole wheat
flour then is having good parts too.

The recipe can be customized to be sweet to.

I made 4 times from which one (3rd time) time was a
complete failure (not used to sweets baking) but on
the last try the basic recipe was a success
so from now on I can customize to my liking
(if I stick to the basics).
In this times try to do something that you are not good
at doing, even if failing keep to the basics at
small scale and try the best you can.

6月も沢山のご愛顧ありがとうございます。

One day of collecting shrine stamps

Today I will talk again about my new hobby to walk around town and collect goshuin (shrine/temple stamp).

Last time I was on goshuin meguri (collecting) I started from Shinjuku station and walked to Hatonomori Hachiman Shrine –>  Togo Shrine –> Meiji Shrine –> Kitaya Inari Shrine –> Onden Shrine.

Goshuin meguri took me 4h and walked almost 12km (23000steps)

Is a very fun way of going around town specially when looking for less crowded places.

After I got to do some shopping in Shibuya.

As usually I pay attention to my walking posture and my walking form.

Introducing the shop YururiRoppongi and myself

ゆるり六本木 の アンカです。

Hello. I’m Anca .

Today I want to introduce myself and the shop where I work ゆるり六本木 (Yururi Roppongi).

The shop is a massage shop for relaxing your tired body and feet.

The type of massage used is Shiatsu (A traditional Japanese practice of using finger pressure on specific acupressure points).The course offered are for whole body massage from 40min, 60min and 90min (or 40min, 60min, 90min and 120min if you are a member), feet massage 30min (using oil and cream) and head massage 10min (using cold spray solution) . One special course for members is 40min whole body + 30min feet.

Inside the shop has a nice atmosphere and the beds are in separate rooms. The staff will offer the best services and omotenashi .

I am Anca from Romania and live in Tokyo, I came to Japan 10 years ago. I started to practice massage 3 years ago, comparing to the veteran staff I am still beginner but I will do my best to offer you a relaxing time and some English conversation. When I’m not working, I like to spend time exploring Tokyo, visiting historical sites, or just walking around town. I like anime and manga, my new hobby is collecting shrine/temple stamps (gosuin).

I wish to all visitors to have a good time in Japan and in the ゆるり六本木 shop if you pass by (is close by Roppongi cross walking).
